Chief of Staff KC is seeking a dependable and organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant for a client within the Overland Park, KS area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping operations running smoothly, providing excellent customer service, and supporting a busy office environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and provide a welcoming, professional first impression
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain office calendars
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other administrative documents
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems
- Perform data entry and ensure records remain accurate and up to date
- Order and maintain office supplies and coordinate vendor needs
- Assist with mail distribution and other daily office operations
- Support leadership and team members with special projects as needed
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Can work 15-20 hours a week
Qualifications
- Previous administrative, receptionist, or office support experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude
