Job Responsibilities:

• Bake a variety of goods following standard recipes and production guidelines.
• Prepare your workstation by gathering all necessary baking supplies and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, mix, and chop ingredients to prepare them for baking.
• Safely operate commercial baking equipment, including ovens, stoves, and mixers.
• Use knives and other kitchen tools safely during food preparation.
• Store all food items properly according to strict food safety guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize workspaces, utensils, and equipment after use to maintain hygiene standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude with guests, clients, and colleagues.
• Follow all Aramark safety policies, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Follow security protocols to protect company assets and resources.

Qualifications:

• It is preferred that applicants have prior experience as a baker or in a similar capacity.
• Thorough knowledge of baking techniques, guidelines, and adherence to sanitation regulations.
• Certification: Essential for obtaining certification in food safety.
• Fundamental math and counting competencies are a requirement.
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, embodying strong interpersonal abilities in interactions with others.
• Physical Competencies: Must possess the capability to manage physical responsibilities like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of walking/standing.
• Utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and wearing designated uniforms might be required for this role.
