POSITION Custodian-Full Time Position, afternoon shift

QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma required. Maintenance skills certifications preferred but not required. Strong work ethic; ability to work with students, staff, and community in a positive manner. Experience and mechanical ability preferred, but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES Perform regular custodial duties in assigned areas of the building.

Perform duties to include maintenance, waste management, supply management, and safety.

Assist in removing snow/applying salt to assigned entryways.

Ensure outside doors and windows are locked for security during and after school each day.

All other duties assigned by the Supervisor of Custodial/Maintenance or Building Principal.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Ability to communicate through e-mail, as well as knowledge of basic forms of technology.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

REPORTS TO Custodial/Maintenance Supervisor and Building Principal

EVALUATION Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Personnel.
