Job Title: Maintenance Technician II

Number of Positions: 3

Location: 404 Union Boulevard, Allentown, PA 18109

Work Model: Fully On-Site

Shift Details:

  • 2 Positions – 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • 1 Position – 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for safely and independently performing preventive, routine, and reactive maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment. This role supports production equipment reliability through troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and maintenance of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform predictive, preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance on production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines.
  • Repair, assemble, and install electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Calibrate process control equipment and instrumentation.
  • Rebuild, install, and perform field repairs on centrifugal and diaphragm pumps.
  • Maintain motor starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and servo controls.
  • Install piping, conduit, and raceway systems.
  • Perform facility and building maintenance activities.
  • Document maintenance activities using CMM systems.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Associate degree or Trade School certification in a technical field with 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, OR
  • High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work off-shifts, including 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Ability to qualify for and utilize specialized personal protective equipment (PPE), including arc flash and fall protection equipment.
  • Must follow all safety requirements, including proper use of PPE such as steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical/electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles.
  • Experience with:
  • Electro-mechanical systems
  • Servo systems
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Pumps and industrial controls
  • PLCs and CNC controls
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

  • PLCs and CNC controls: 2 years (Required)

  • Night Shift (Preferred)
