Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
• Execute floor care tasks including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and performing heavy lifting when moving furniture or equipment.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest and staff safety during incidents or evacuations.
• Manage custodial supplies inventory and ensure proper storage in compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with hotel management tasks related to housekeeping operations to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and custodial responsibilities enhances performance in this role.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is essential for maintaining a secure environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while adhering to SDS guidelines.
• Experience with hotel housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus for those seeking advancement opportunities.
• Strong physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts.
• A background in hospitality or janitorial experience will support your success in delivering exceptional cleanliness standards.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
