Schedule and Requirements

• Day shift schedule.
• 40 hours per week.
• Weekend, call, floating, and holiday requirements not specified.

Required Experience

• Previous Surgical First Assistant experience preferred.
• Experience assisting surgeons in operative procedures.
• Operating Room experience required.

Required Certifications

• Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) or equivalent certification required.
• Additional facility-specific certifications may be required upon submission.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the primary surgeon during surgical procedures.
• Provide surgical exposure and visualization of the operative site.
• Perform hemostasis techniques to control bleeding.
• Assist with suturing, tying, and closing procedures as directed by the surgeon.
• Support safe and efficient surgical workflow in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and surgical staff.
• Perform assigned clinical duties accurately and efficiently while maintaining patient safety.
