Make a positive impact in education by supporting students' speech and language development during the 2026-2027 school year in a dynamic K-12 setting. Experienced Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for full-time, in-person opportunities. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators to help students reach their communication goals while working with manageable caseloads-45 at the secondary level and 42 at the elementary level.
Preferred applicants will bring solid expertise in school-based speech and language services, be comfortable working with a range of ages, and be ready to provide innovative, compassionate interventions. Desired Qualifications:
- Active Washington SLP License and ESA required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience providing speech therapy in school settings (elementary and/or secondary)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students based on IEP goals
- Complete comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop intervention plans
- Maintain accurate and timely records for evaluations, services, and progress monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and communicate effectively with families
- Use evidence-based practices to address diverse student needs
- Foster an encouraging learning environment for students of various backgrounds and abilities
This full-time contract runs from August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027.
