Valley Regional is currently seeking either a full-time or a part-time Physical Therapist who would be open to working some Saturdays or Sundays at a higher hourly rate. Valley Regional covers a wide range of the Valley’s towns and rural areas, and we offer a flexible territory assignment based on your location. Physical Therapists here at Valley Regional work overtime (if they prefer) and can take on a caseload that best fits their needs and preferences. Typical schedules include a mix of evaluations and follow-up visits. Full-time therapists typically earn $150,000+ annually with paid drive time and documentation time.
Valley Regional’s territories: Fresno, Clovis, Madera, Prather, Auberry, Coarsegold, Sanger, Selma, Kingsburg, Visalia, Hanford, Lemoore, and more! These are all of the territories covered, and the areas are split up between our clinicians. Our dedicated, supportive scheduling team tailors flexible territory assignments based on where you live.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Provides physical therapy services to patients according to a written physician's plan of care. This may include, but will not be limited to:
- Assessing and evaluating therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status, and participation in the development of the total plan of care. Evaluates home environment.
- Assesses for muscle strength, mobility, gait, ROM—potential for rehab.
- Instructing patients and families/caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic appliances.
- Determining priority needs for physical therapy
- Reporting to physician patient’s reaction to treatment or changes in condition.
- May train patients in the use of prosthetic devices.
- Identifies patient and family/caregiver needs for other home health services and refers as necessary.
- Prepares and submits clinical and progress summaries based on the attainment of goals.
- Participates in discharge planning for patients.
- Prepares and submits a clinical progress summary based on the attainment of goals as directed by Organization policy.
- Provides physical therapy consultation to home families/caregivers when indicated.
- Provides or participates in in-service education programs for nursing organization personnel as needed.
- Participates in peer consultation process.
- Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants according to organization policy and state regulations.
- When therapy is the only skilled service, instructs, supervises and evaluates home health aide care every two (2) weeks.
