Looking for a career instead of just another job? The CCAC Academy offers a paid Commercial HVAC Maintenance Apprenticeship where you'll receive classroom instruction and hands-on field training while earning a paycheck.

In just 90 days, you'll gain the skills needed to begin your career maintaining commercial HVAC systems, with opportunities for cross-training in Electrical and Plumbing.

No HVAC experience is required—we'll teach you everything you need to know.

Training Location: Apprentices will primarily work out of our Charlotte office but may be required to commute to our Greensboro training facility up to two days per week during the apprenticeship program.

What You'll Learn

• Commercial HVAC preventative maintenance
• Maintenance of rooftop units (RTUs)
• Split systems and package units
• Air handlers and ventilation systems
• Filter, belt, and pulley replacement
• Equipment inspections and performance checks
• Basic HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Commercial jobsite safety
• Proper tool usage and maintenance procedures
• Preventative maintenance documentation
• Teamwork and communication in the field

You'll receive classroom instruction and hands-on field experience working alongside experienced Commercial HVAC Maintenance Technicians.
