CDL Class B Water truck Driver Manual Transmission/Tankers endorsment

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Class B Water Truck Driver with manual transmission/ Tankers endorsement expertise to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate specialized water trucks to support landscaping, or municipal projects, ensuring efficient delivery and distribution of water across various sites. Your skills in truck driving, route management, and vehicle operation will be vital in maintaining smooth operations and safety standards. Duties

• Safely operate CDL Class B water trucks with manual transmissions to transport water to designated locations
• Load, unload, and distribute water using appropriate equipment and techniques including some manual labor with sod and tree/shrub plantings
• Conduct routine inspections of the truck before and after trips, including checking fluid levels, brakes, tires, and safety devices
• Follow planned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, routes, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery schedules and address any route or vehicle issues promptlySkills
• Proven experience operating manual transmission trucks in a commercial driving environment
• Strong knowledge of truck driving regulations and safety protocols for CDL drivers
• Ability to load & unload hoses when necessary
• Excellent route planning skills for efficient delivery and time management
• Physical stamina for long hours on the road and handling heavy loads safely
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel
