Position: Engineering - Mechanic HVAC - Full Time
MECHANIC HVAC
As part of our Engineering team, the HVAC‑R Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the resort’s heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role plays a critical part in upholding the safety, comfort, and quality standards our guests expect.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including boilers, pumps, valves, and central plant equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas.
- Maintain and repair laundry and valet equipment.
- Accurately record system readings (temperatures, pressures) and maintain detailed logs.
- Support electrical setups for events and resort functions.
- Partner with fellow team members to support the overall operation of the resort.
Qualifications
- HVAC/R Certification and EPA Universal Certification required.
- Hands‑on experience in HVAC/R maintenance and repair.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of chillers, boilers, air handlers, and related systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and system data.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
