WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Located at the Entry Door Division, the Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for analyzing inventory and supporting the production team while maintaining accurate inventory control. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Pulling SDL inventory for production

Evaluates how to process material and relays information to Supervisor

Provides inventory reports and data to maintain a healthy inventory and product line support

Assisting with vendor and inventory control processes and procedures

Assisting production team with cycle counts

Monitoring product flow into and out of the shop floor to maximize efficiency

Assisting on receiving dock as needed

Performing other miscellaneous duties and/or other special projects as required

This position offers a $250 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School diploma/GED required

1-3 years’ experience as inventory and warehouse setting

Prior experience in a door environment desired

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to operate a forklift (Training provided)

Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 75lbs
