Job Overview

Fam First Logistics LLC is seeking a motivated and dependable Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator to help build and support our growing transportation and logistics company.

This is more than a traditional dispatching role. We’re looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and excited about helping a startup grow into one of the nation’s premier logistics companies. The ideal candidate will assist with booking freight, communicating with drivers and freight brokers, coordinating daily operations, helping recruit qualified drivers, and providing exceptional customer service.

As a growing company, this position will initially be part-time, with opportunities for additional hours, increased responsibilities, leadership advancement, and long-term career growth as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Book and negotiate profitable freight
• Build and maintain relationships with freight brokers and customers
• Coordinate schedules for drivers and deliveries
• Monitor shipments and provide updates to customers
• Answer phone calls, emails, and dispatch communications
• Help recruit, screen, and coordinate interviews for drivers and other team members
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and operational documentation
• Assist with business development and identifying new opportunities
• Support daily operations and help improve company processes

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Previous dispatching or logistics experience preferred
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional phone and email etiquette
• Experience with load boards is a plus
• A self-starter who wants to grow with a company from the ground up
