Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Clerical Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic logistics and warehouse operations team. This role is essential in coordinating and managing the administrative aspects of warehouse distribution, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, technical proficiency with warehouse management systems, and hands-on experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient supply chain operations while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all logistical activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with warehouse management system (WMS) entries to track inventory levels, shipments, and order statuses
• Support shipping and receiving operations by preparing documentation and verifying incoming and outgoing goods
• Coordinate order picking, packing, and staging activities to ensure accurate fulfillment
• Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts safely and efficiently
• Manage stock replenishment through proper stocking procedures and inventory control
• Utilize RF scanners for accurate order picking, packing, and inventory updates
• Support load and unload activities for trucks using appropriate equipment
• Maintain detailed records of shipments, receipts, and inventory movements in AS400 or similar systems
• Assist in packaging products securely for shipment to prevent damage during transit
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize distribution workflows and improve overall efficiency

Skills:

• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and inventory management
• Experience with order picking & packing using RF scanners or similar technology
• Basic math skills for measurements, quantities, and calculations related to logistics tasks
• Understanding of e-commerce logistics workflows including packaging for online orders
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and inventory control
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
