Position Summary As an EMT, you will provide highquality patient care , operate emergency vehicles safely, and respond to 911 calls and medical transport requests. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about emergency medicine and serving their communities.
Key Responsibilities • Respond to emergency and nonemergency calls promptly and professionally
- Assess, treat, and stabilize patients according to EMT protocols and state EMS guidelines
- Safely operate ambulances and maintain compliance with all driving regulations
- Document all patient care activities accurately in electronic reporting systems
- Assist paramedics and other EMS personnel as needed
- Maintain medical equipment, supplies, and vehicle cleanliness
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, hospital staff, and patients
Qualifications • Current EMT certification (state or national registry)
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- CPR certification (AHA or equivalent)
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs
- Strong communication and patientcare skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) • Previous EMS or ambulance experience
- EVOC or CEVO certification
- AEMT or Paramedic coursework in progress
Work Environment • Fastpaced EMS setting
- Exposure to varied weather conditions and emergency scenarios
- Frequent standing, lifting, and patient movement
