Position Overview

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will help ensure a safe and welcoming environment through:

• Routine foot patrols
• Customer engagement
• Observation and reporting
• Supporting on-site team operations

These are stable, structured observe-and-report positions with clear expectations and consistent support from site leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot patrols to maintain safety and visibility
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents, visitors, and staff
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
• Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and basic incident documentation
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and site management
• Uphold all company, client, and site-specific policies

Requirements

Applicants must meet ALL requirements to be considered:

• Valid California Guard Card (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
• 2+ years of security experience preferred (government site, residential, military, or commercial security experience strongly valued)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to walk/stand for the duration of the shift
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must have at least 2 professional references listed on your resume
