Electrical Assistant

The Electrical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting electrical projects and operations. This position involves assisting Lead Electricians and Electrical Foremen by contributing to the successful completion of solar projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with crew members in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Collaborate with crew members in identifying and troubleshooting electrical issues, contributing to effective problem-solving.
• Actively engage in learning opportunities to enhance knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practice.
• Perform wiring installation and connection tasks.
• Proficiently bend PVC and EMT conduits.
• Skillfully fish wires through residential structures.
• Expertise in the installation of breakers, breaker panels, and taps.
• Execute the running of metal conduits in attics.

Qualifications

• Electrical Helper/Electrical Apprentice Experience: 2+ year (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)
• Work Authorization (Required)
• Solar Electrical: 1 year (Preferred, Not Required)

Required Skills and Abilities

• Emphasis on Customer Satisfaction
• Familiarity with residential and commercial construction practices.
• Familiarity with basic electrical concepts and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety consciousness.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of electrical experience is required.
• Knowledge of solar products is preferred.
