Block LLP is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney with plaintiff-side experience to manage a caseload from pre-litigation through litigation as needed. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys advocating for injured clients, and is committed to achieving outstanding case outcomes.
The Personal Injury Attorney will be responsible for evaluating cases, negotiating settlements, litigating matters when necessary, and guiding clients throughout the legal process. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of independently managing a caseload while collaborating effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

What You'll Do
Case Management
Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
Evaluate liability, damages, and case value to develop effective case strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely case documentation.
Ensure cases move efficiently while delivering exceptional client service.
Pre-Litigation Responsibilities
Handle demand preparation, settlement negotiations, and claim resolution.
Communicate directly with insurance adjusters and opposing parties.
Analyze medical records, liability evidence, and damages documentation.
Advocate aggressively for clients throughout the settlement process.
Litigation Support & Advocacy
Litigate cases as necessary, including filing complaints, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, and attending court appearances.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents.
Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, settlement conferences, and trial.
Work closely with litigation support staff to ensure deadlines and case milestones are met.
Client Communication & Collaboration
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding legal strategy and case progress.
Maintain strong relationships with clients through consistent communication and responsiveness.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, case managers, and leadership to maximize case outcomes.
Uphold the firm's commitment to exemplary client service and professionalism.
