Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to support laboratory operations in a rehabilitation and long-term acute care setting. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, ensure accurate specimen analysis, and contribute to high-quality patient care through precise and timely diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing in accordance with established protocols.
• Analyze blood, urine, and other biological specimens.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Verify accuracy of test results and report findings promptly.
• Follow quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory inventory and supplies.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Laboratory experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted.

Certifications

• ASCP Certification required.
• ASCP Medical Technologist (MT) or ASCP Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification accepted.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong laboratory testing and specimen processing skills.
• Knowledge of laboratory quality control procedures.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
