Insurance Sales Representative Position at ClaimLinx

ClaimLinx is looking for a dynamic, organized, and team-oriented Insurance Sales Assistant/Underwriter to join our growing team! As an Insurance Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for developing and retaining new and existing business opportunities and relationships with consultants, accountants, financial planners, tax consultants, agents, brokers and/or business centers of influence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to build ClaimLinx business by finding new prospects and connecting with decision makers. In addition, the ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with all new prospects, existing customers, internal and external. Qualified candidates will have the ability to retain existing business at renewal, develop referrals, and qualify new business.

We offer competitive a competitive base salary of $42,000- $45,000/year plus monthly commission for the Insurance Sales Representative role. Additionally, our full-time team members are eligible for 401k contributions and matching, as well as cell phone and travel reimbursements.

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify and qualify solid contacts and prospects
  • Understand and respond appropriately to all prospective customer requests and inquiries in a timely manner
  • Solve problems and lead the team through internal issues to enable securing new business
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all customers and potential customers, including internal ClaimLinx associates
  • Maintain existing relationships and develop new relationships through strategic networking
  • Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the industry with an ability to sell ClaimLinx as the best solution
  • Attain a thorough understanding of the ClaimLinx solution with an ability to introduce the concept to others in an understandable format
  • Act with a sense of urgency when responding to all customers
  • Work through issues and resolve all customer concerns in a timely manner
  • Make critical judgement calls leading to the best solution for the customer and ClaimLinx
  • Must demonstrate a willingness to commit time and effort to increase professional development

  • Ability to travel and reliable transportation, occasionally available to stay overnight for company business travel

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
