Providing clinical and administrative support for the Digestive Diseases department, the full-time Connecticut Licensed Administrative Assistant will coordinate surgical scheduling, manage patient paperwork, and maintain organized surgical schedules using the EPIC system, all while working remotely from Connecticut. Key responsibilities Oversees and coordinates administrative functions, including scheduling surgeries and maintaining surgical schedules for surgeons Acts as the primary source of information regarding policies, procedures, and office activities for staff and patients Handles patient communications, including greeting visitors and responding to inquiries, while ensuring confidentiality and superior customer service Required qualifications Six years of related work experience, including four years in a similar role, or an Associate's degree with relevant experience Proven proficiency in scheduling surgical appointments within a clinical environment Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Outlook and EPIC systems Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and work cooperatively in a changing environment
