Diesel Mechanic- Voorhees, NJ

We are currently seeking dependable and experienced Class A and B Diesel Mechanics to join our family-owned company, where your skills, input, and work ethic are genuinely recognized and appreciated. You’ll be part of a fast-paced operation in a recently renovated shop facility equipped with well-lit, clean bays and well-maintained, modern equipment, working on both our company owned and maintained fleet of trucks, tractors and trailers. Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel tractors and trailers. Experience with Performing good Preventative Maintenance inspections an absolute plus!
  • Conduct DOT inspections in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Perform full-service oil changes, tire repair and replacement, and preventative maintenance
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete timely repairs
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure equipment meets safety standards

Requirements:

  • Must provide your own toolbox and basic mechanic tools
  • Class A CDL strongly preferred
  • Experience working on diesel tractors and trailers
  • Comfortable performing DOT inspections, tire service, and routine maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail; excellent diag skills a must!
  • Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team, must have customer service mindset
  • Traditional daytime schedule to start, with flexibility to transition to a second-shift schedule in the future
