Veterinary Technician (Part-Time)

Looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician (preferably 2+ years of experience) in a small animal hospital.

(CVT preferred but not required)

Part-time is 15-30 hours a week, including weekends

This is not a seasonal position.

Must have excellent customer service skills and be a team player.

Fluent in English and Spanish.

Vet Tech Position:

Animal handling and restraint, venipuncture and catheter placement, blood drawing, sterile surgical preparation, anesthetic monitoring, drug calculation & pharmacy, radiology and lab procedures, dental cleaning, inventory management, client education and communication, IV/SQ/IM injection administration, exam room check-in, presentation of treatment plans, invoicing, janitorial duties, and daily use of Idexx Neo Veterinary software. Additional job requirements would be upkeep of in-house lab equipment, radiology and isolation station, surgical room, kennel room, and treatment area. Must be able to lift 40 lbs or more.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
