Job Description

POSITIONS INCLUDE: Hand Scan Pallets Labor 0001 - Goodlettsville DC

Schedule: C Shift Putaway (Mon - Fri, 8pm - 5am)

Starting Pay - $21.10/HR (plus $1.00 shift differential for C Shift)

Responsible for accurately counting cases on pallets, assigning License Plate Number (LPN) labels using a handheld RF scanner, and ensuring pallet information is recorded correctly. This position works in a cold-storage warehouse environment and supports inventory accuracy and product tracking.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Count and verify cases on pallets using a handheld RF scanner.
  • Scan product labels and assign LPN labels to completed pallets.
  • Place LPN labels on completed pallets according to established procedures.
  • Verify pallet information for accuracy.
  • Walk around pallets to scan product from various heights and positions.
  • Follow all safety, food safety, quality, and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

  • Cold-storage environment with temperatures ranging from approximately 26°F to 36°F.
  • Standing and walking on concrete floors throughout the shift.
  • Exposure to warehouse traffic and equipment.

Physical Requirements

Must be able and willing to:

  • Stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
  • Work in temperatures ranging from approximately 26°F to 36°F.
  • Frequently use and handle a handheld RF scanner weighing approximately 4 pounds.
  • Reach from floor level to heights up to approximately 81 inches.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, and stretch while scanning and labeling pallets.
  • Perform repetitive scanning, counting, and labeling tasks throughout the shift.
