Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that customers have a positive experience during their visit.

Duties

• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the cash register.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and surrounding workspace.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in the restaurant environment.
• Support food service operations by assisting in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sales or cash handling is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Experience in food service or culinary settings is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of retail math to assist with transactions and inventory management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to café operations.
