Cafe Chef Operations Lead

INDNON is a modern Indian fusion café serving handcrafted wraps, bowls, sandwiches, brunch, espresso drinks, and globally inspired comfort food. We combine bold flavors with fast, friendly service in a modern, cashless café environment.

We’re looking for a Café Operations Lead to help run the day-to-day operation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys both cooking and hospitality. You’ll lead by example, support a small cross-trained team, and help create an outstanding experience for every customer.

What You’ll DoLead Daily Operations

• Oversee daily café operations from open to close.
• Coordinate food preparation, customer service, and workflow.
• Ensure fast, consistent, high-quality execution.

Cook & Serve

• Prepare menu items with consistency and attention to detail.
• Jump onto the register or help customers whenever needed.
• Assist with drinks, food assembly, and expediting during busy periods.
• Help maintain a clean, organized café throughout the day.

Build a Strong Team

• Train and coach cross-trained team members.
• Create an environment where everyone can support both kitchen and customer-facing responsibilities.
• Help schedule shifts and maintain efficient staffing.

Manage the Business

• Monitor inventory and place orders.
• Help control food and labor costs.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Identify ways to improve efficiency and customer experience.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

• Has experience leading a fast-paced café, restaurant, or kitchen.
• Enjoys working directly with customers.
• Can comfortably move between cooking, food prep, customer service, and operations.
• Takes ownership and solves problems independently.
• Leads with a positive attitude and strong communication.
• Wants to help build a growing neighborhood café.

Experience with Indian, Mediterranean, or fusion cuisine is a plus, but we’re equally interested in candidates who are excited to learn and grow with our concept.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
