Norris & Stevens is seeking a strong, organized, and resident-focused Onsite Community Manager (or team) to oversee two neighboring multifamily communities in Southeast Portland: Serengeti Court Apartments and Townhouse Villas.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced property management professional to step into a combined live-in role featuring a beautifully renovated manager’s townhome, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to oversee two established communities with support from an engaged regional leadership team.

POSITION DETAILS
- Live-in onsite position
- Combined contracted hours between both communities
- Compensation equivalent targeted between approximately $29–$33/hour depending on experience and overall compensation structure
- Renovated manager unit included as part of compensation package

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- Has prior multifamily/property management experience
- Is organized and accountable
- Communicates professionally with residents, vendors, and ownership groups
- Can balance resident relations, leasing, operations, and property oversight
- Takes pride in community appearance and operational execution
- Is comfortable working independently while partnering closely with asset management leadership
- Understands how to create strong resident experiences while maintaining operational standards
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Leasing and resident relations
- Work order coordination and follow-up
- Oversight of vendors and onsite maintenance operations
- Property walks and curb appeal management
- Rent collection and delinquency management
- Move-ins, move-outs, and inspections
- General operational oversight of both communities
- Maintaining a professional, responsive onsite presence
Maintenance would be responsible for the following:
Maintenance Requests: Repairing and/or replacing all indoor and some outdoor aspects of a home... Fans, water heaters, faucets, cabinets, Doors--interior & exterior, appliances, electrical, plumbing, Ventilation, Locks, Weather stripping, etc.
Curb Appeal: Picking up trash, blowing parking lots, shoveling snow, weed killing, maintaining trash areas, tagging non-compliance autos, laundry room maintenance, remove cobs from buildings and repairing exterior lighting.
General: Maintaining the shop and rake room, ordering supplies, off property errands to pick up supplies & maintaining maintenance records.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior onsite manager or assistant manager experience
- AppFolio experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Professional written communication
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Reliable transportation
