Material Handler - Forklift Operator (Spokane)

As a Material Handler / Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center. **Responsibilities:**

• Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines. * Load/unload/store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage. * Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk)
• Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products. * Perform daily inspection and maintenance of equipment. * Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area. * Assist in periodic inventory counts as requested. **Qualifications:**
• One year or recent forklift/warehouse experience
• Ability to proficiently and safely use forklift to transport products, load/unload trucks
• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Ability to work independently at times under pressure
• Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting up to 75 lbs. * Ability to read/comprehend sales orders, purchase orders, safety material, etc. * Safe work record and stable work history
