As a Hospice Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in driving our sales strategy to enhance market presence through effective account development and educating the healthcare community about our services. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all hospice agency referral sources, engaging in sales calls, providing hospice education, and facilitating community in-services.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture relationships with key referral sources to implement our growth strategy.
- Carry out, manage, and document consistent sales efforts with multiple contacts within each referral source.
- Identify customer needs to offer tailored solutions and secure new and continued referrals.
- Enhance awareness of our services within the healthcare community through targeted education and outreach.
- Act as a liaison between referral sources, patients and families navigating end-of-life care, and our hospice agencies.

Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation or public transportation.
- Proven skills in presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and CRM software.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of effective hospice sales experience.
- Understanding of home health/hospice coverage and related issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Ability to professionally engage with diverse individuals.
- Creative thinking for marketing and community education initiatives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Skilled at maximizing resource effectiveness and efficiency.
Compensation will be based on various factors including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. In addition to your salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, an equity stock purchase plan, and 401k contributions (subject to eligibility requirements). Salary for this role is projected between $75,840 to $113,760 annually for full-time employees. We adhere to all applicable minimum wage laws.
