We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support core accounting operations in Conway, Arkansas. This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing close activities, and ensuring account balances are properly reviewed and reconciled. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, solid general ledger knowledge, and the ability to manage recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environment.The salary range will be $60,000 - $70,000 DOE with phenomenal benefits and opportunity to be a part of a growing company! Please reach out to Austen Zemrock on LinkedIn for a direct confidential conversation or email me a Word version of your resume for more information.Responsibilities:• Lead monthly close activities by preparing entries, reviewing balances, and helping ensure timely completion of reporting deadlines.• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through consistent review, analysis, and correction of financial data.• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate support and clear documentation for audit readiness.• Perform detailed reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies to resolution.• Complete bank reconciliations regularly and follow up on outstanding items to keep cash records accurate.• Analyze financial activity and identify unusual variances, errors, or missing transactions requiring adjustment.• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather information needed for accurate accounting treatment and reporting.• Assist with process improvements related to close and reconciliation activities while maintaining strong internal controls.
