We are seeking a Material Handling Supervisor to lead teams of hourly and bargaining employees in supporting daily production through effective material receiving, inventory management, and delivery operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production flow, resolving operational challenges in real time, and ensuring plant throughput targets are achieved.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can coordinate people, processes, and resources to keep operations moving safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support hourly material handling teams to ensure daily production goals are achieved
• Troubleshoot operational issues and allocate labor and resources to minimize production interruptions
• Manage employee attendance, training, and engagement initiatives
• Promote and participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities aligned with production standards
• Collaborate with union leadership to address employee concerns and maintain positive working relationships
• Monitor and replenish production line inventory to maintain uninterrupted operations
• Oversee material handling equipment operations, establish safe work practices, and coordinate routine maintenance
• Prepare and communicate daily performance reporting related to safety, quality, throughput, and inventory control
• Interact effectively across all levels of the organization, including hourly employees, leadership teams, and executive management

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
• Comfortable presenting information and communicating with groups

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field
• Minimum 18 months of manufacturing and/or supervisory experience
• Previous experience working in a union environment
