Job Title: Branch Manager
Location: Denver Metro, CO
Job Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Denver Metro market, ensuring the achievement of financial, operational, and customer service objectives. This role drives revenue growth, profitability, customer retention, and asset optimization while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and employee engagement. The Branch Manager leads cross-functional teams, develops high-performing talent, and ensures the delivery of exceptional service that strengthens client relationships and supports long-term business success.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or equivalent experience (10+ years in a related field).
Language Skills
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from employees and clients.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Mathematical Skills
- Intermediate to advanced math skills.
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to analyze and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Ability to follow and interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule formats.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
- As required by state and federal law.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
- Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) or other relevant licenses a plus.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong customer service and leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop, motivate, and inspire a team.
- Experience working with commercial property managers is a plus.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure branch personnel provide prompt and professional client interaction and follow-up.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through phone calls, site walks, and meetings.
- Hire, train, and develop branch personnel.
- Lead with professionalism, integrity, and strong leadership at all times.
- Review and monitor equipment maintenance programs and recommend capital investments.
- Ensure timely and effective follow-up on all sales lead opportunities.
- Maintain effective collaboration between sales, operations, and customers to ensure successful onboarding and retention of new business.
- Draft and present annual budgets and monthly financial projections.
- Meet or exceed branch financial and sales goals.
- Champion Monarch safety practices through leadership, participation in safety meetings, calls, and appreciation events.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all employee coaching, conversations, counseling, and performance management discussions.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of 6–8 management-level employees.
- Indirect supervision of 50–150 production-level employees.
- High-level decision-making authority with frequent independent deliberation.
- Problem resolution and other duties as assigned.
