A dynamic, fast-paced digital news organization is seeking a polished, highly organized Executive Assistant to support the CEO and the Editor-in-Chief. Must have a bachelor's degree and 3+ years experience as an executive assistant, and a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Strategically manage complex calendars, coordinating internal and external meetings
- Coordinate domestic travel, including itineraries, accommodations, and logistics
- Serve as a primary point of contact for executives, communicating professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Handle highly confidential information with exceptional discretion and sound judgment
- Prepare meeting agendas, briefing materials, presentations, and follow-up notes
- Assist with email management by prioritizing communications and drafting correspondence
- Work closely with the Chief of Staff to track projects, deadlines, and key initiative.
- Coordinate executive meetings, both in the office and off-site
- Anticipate executive needs and proactively resolve scheduling and administrative challenges
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and enhance executive productivity
- Provide hands-on support across a broad range of responsibilities, from complex scheduling to daily operational logistics
- Assist with special projects and provide additional support to leadership as needs evolve
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, professional environment, (media, publishing, or digital organization preferred)
- Strategic calendar management
- You are known for anticipating needs - think several steps ahead, take initiative, and handle every detail
- You handle sensitive information with professionalism, sound judgment and discretion.
- Proven ability to build relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under changing priorities
- Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion when handling confidential information
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, and calendar management tools
- Flexible self-starter with a positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities
- Strong interest in current events, media or politics
The salary listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience and qualifications.
