We are seeking a Staff or Senior Staff Systems Engineer to support the integration and certification of software for defense applications. You will work within a team delivering modeling and simulation software for Missile Warning and Missile Defense. You will implement systems engineering and testing processes in support of an Agile software development program whose members consist of Scientists, Engineers, and Developers.

The ideal candidate brings strong systems engineering knowledge, the ability to generate software verification and validation test plans, and develop programatic documentation.

Responsibilities

Perform requirements derivation, decomposition, allocation, and traceability

Support internal and external testing to verify system and software conformance to applicable standards

Lead development of software verification test planning to support certification and evaluation for operational use

Maintain MBSE model of system architectures

Collaborate with SciTec staff in systems engineering processes, methods, and best practices

Develop and maintain systems engineering artifacts, including requirements documents, architecture descriptions, certification evidence, and other program documentation as required

Communicate technical concepts clearly through written documentation and verbal briefings

Lead the effort to develop integrated testing architectures and processes

Perform other duties as assigned
