Job Summary

Loenbro is hiring a QA/QC Manager to support our growing Industrial Construction team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong piping and welding knowledge who thrives in a collaborative, shop environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality, compliance, and project execution by partnering closely with engineering, construction, fabrication, and NDE teams.

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret weld maps and isometric drawings

Perform weld and piping inspections to ensure compliance with specs and procedures

Manage and track welding/inspection data in project systems

Support pressure testing plans and coordinate with NDE/NDT teams

Review and file inspection reports and documentation packages

Conduct welder testing and verify welding procedures

Develop and implement Quality Assurance Plans and ITPs

Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective actions

Provide training and guidance to inspectors and team members

Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and Loenbro core values

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience with piping systems and weld inspection

Knowledge of NDE/NDT processes and QA/QC standards

Proven ability to manage documentation and project turnover

Team-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

Current AWS CWI or ASNT VT II certification

Strong knowledge of NDT methods with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A training/hours

Experience generating turnover packages

Proficiency In reading and Interpreting drawings

Knowledge of key Industry codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE)

5+ years of Quality Control Inspector experience

Experience working under a Quality Management Program

Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment

High organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities

Work Environment:

Indoor office setting with controlled temperature.

Outdoor industrial sites with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, extreme weather, uneven terrain, or other environmental factors.

Fabrication shop with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, or other environmental factors.

Travel requirements: up to 10% of time.

This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH S) policies.
