The focus for the Revenue Management Commercial Analyst will be cross-functional, between revenue management and other commercial areas, with a daily focus on managing passenger fare revenue. Analyzing data, forecasting demand, creating reports, presenting to leadership, and making decisions based off these points to improve revenue performance are among the responsibilities of this role. Other analytical projects will include, but are not limited to, network and schedule planning, ancillary revenue, competitive pricing, and web site metrics.
Here's what you'll do
Adjust prices with through a revenue management system, based on current performance versus forecast model(s)
Proactive reporting of booking and revenue performance for assigned markets
Initiative to analyze historical and future revenue and booking data
Monitor competitive pricing landscape
Complete ad hoc projects to support all areas of Revenue Management Commercial
Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence
Here's what you'll need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
4-year degree in Aviation, Economics, Math, or other quantitative field
High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in a commercial department of an airline
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Familiarity with the U.S. commercial airline industry and general knowledge thereof
Experience making data-driven decisions, utilizing self-made analyses
Understanding of revenue management forecasting models
Understanding of network and schedule planning
Ability to extract data via SQL, Python, R, or similar
