Job Overview
South Texas Veterinary Radiology is seeking an experienced and dedicated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our radiology team.
We are a privately owned radiology practice located inside of San Antonio Veterinary Specialists. SAVS is a multi-specialty hospital with board-certified specialists in Surgery, Oncology, and Ophthalmology who utilize STVR on a daily basis. We are seeking a technician with a strong foundation in anesthesia and diagnostic imaging who are eager to join a team dedicated to providing quality diagnostic imaging for our patients and doctors. The ideal candidate will have experience with patient handling, phlebotomy, radiographs, CT Imaging, Ultrasound imaging, and experience with anesthesia. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high-level standards of care, is a clear communicator, and wants to expand their knowledge of multiple specialties.
We are committed to delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety. In addition to serving our patients, SAVS is dedicated to expanding access to advanced imaging services for our referral community.
As part of this commitment, we recently launched our Outpatient CT Program, a referral-based service that enables general practitioners to refer patients directly to SAVS for CT imaging. This program is designed to support referring veterinarians by providing timely access to advanced diagnostics, helping them make informed decisions regarding follow-up care, ongoing case management, or referral to the appropriate specialty service.
