Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) - Chicago, Illinois

What Youll Contribute:

• Proficiently perform a range of interventional radiology procedures under the direction of radiologists and physicians
• Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment with a strong attention to safety protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures, clearly explaining steps and ensuring comfort throughout
• Accurately document patient information and procedure details in accordance with departmental guidelines
• Collaborate seamlessly with nursing, medical, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Adhere strictly to infection control and quality assurance standards

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with Interventional Radiology credentials required
• Valid state license in Radiology
• Hands-on experience with interventional radiology procedures, equipment, and sterile technique
• Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting strongly preferred
