Landscaper/Groundskeeper

Join our dynamic team as a Landscaper/Groundskeeper and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of outdoor spaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a variety of environments, utilizing your skills in landscape installation, maintenance, and groundskeeping. You will be responsible for ensuring that landscapes are healthy, attractive, and well-kept, contributing to the overall aesthetic appeal and safety of the property. This paid position welcomes motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in horticulture, landscape construction, and grounds management.

Duties

• Use hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and installing landscape features.
• Maintain landscape beds by mulching, weeding, planting flowers or shrubs.
• Install hardscape features like retaining walls and rocks.
• Installation of new landscape, such as flowers beds.
• Conduct routine landscape maintenance.
• Sod installation at times
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations involving machinery or when lifting heavy mulch bags, rocks,etc.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, for prunning and trimming.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles.
• Experience with landscaping installation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions; stamina for standing, walking, lifting heavy objects.
• Sod installation experience would be great but not required if no experience.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems would be great but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape upkeep and safety standards.
• Needs to have a car to get to the location that we will be working at that day.
• Worker's comp exempt card if possible.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
