Seasonal Security Officer

Overview:

As a Seasonal Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for everyone at Frontier City. We offer a competitive pay rate of up to $15.00 per hour, with scheduling based on operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with employees, guests, and vendors by providing directions and assistance.
• Protect the safety of employees, guests, and company property.
• Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure a pleasant experience for all.
• Manage park access by verifying vehicle permits and scanning ID badges for team members, vendors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify and address safety hazards, including fire risks, theft, and vandalism.
• Prevent unauthorized personnel from accessing restricted areas.
• Greet and screen individuals entering the park through metal detection, checking bags for prohibited items.
• Respond swiftly to alarms, first aid requests, and other emergencies.
• Monitor ride queue lines to prevent line jumping for a fair boarding process.
• Document incidents, damages, and maintain accurate security records.
• Escort guests and team members as necessary for their safety and assistance.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Capability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout your shift.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Prior experience in Law Enforcement, Public Safety, or Security is preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
