Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Senior Kitting / Material Handling Associate to join our Supply Chain team in New Kensington, PA. This position is responsible for improving kitting and material handling processes, solving complex material challenges, and developing team capabilities. The ideal candidate is a proven process improver, advanced problem solver, and mentor who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where continuous improvement and operational excellence are essential.

What you get to do

Process Improvement Operational Excellence:

Improve and optimize kitting and material handling processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste

Identify root causes of material discrepancies, shortages, and quality issues; implement corrective actions

Drive operational improvements that enhance production support and material flow

Complex Kitting Material Management:

Handle critical builds and exception kits requiring advanced problem-solving and coordination

Manage complex/multi-level kits with multiple components, specifications, and production requirements

Guide others in resolving material handling challenges and production bottlenecks

ERP System Expertise:

Serve as an advanced user/problem solver in the ERP system (e.g., Infor CloudSuite/Syteline)

Troubleshoot system issues, train others on advanced transactions, and ensure data accuracy

Optimize material recording processes and inventory management workflows

Leadership Team Development:

Coach and mentor L1 associates on kitting procedures, safety protocols, and best practices

Develop team capability through training, guidance, and knowledge sharing

Lead by example in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives

Production Support Collaboration:

Work independently to support production schedules, resolve material issues, and ensure on-time delivery

Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Shipping to address complex material challenges

Inspect materials and kits for quality, accuracy, and defects; ensure compliance with specifications

Material Handling Safety:

Transport packaged kits and finished goods safely using forklifts and material-handling equipment

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area while following all PPE and safety protocols

Champion safety culture and root cause improvement initiatives

What you bring to the Team

High school diploma or GED required

5-7 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling with demonstrated progression

Proven track record of process improvement and operational problem-solving

Advanced organizational and analytical skills with ability to manage critical builds and exceptions

Strong ERP system proficiency (Infor CloudSuite/Syteline or similar); ability to troubleshoot and train others

Excellent communication and coaching skills; ability to develop team capabilities

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods

Commitment to safety, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
