About the Opportunity

Charleston Endo Perio is seeking a strong Dental Clinical Assistant to join our specialty dental team.

We are looking for a dependable, patient-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment and takes pride in delivering an outstanding patient experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong chairside assisting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during patient procedures and treatment
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Support patient care before, during, and after appointments
• Take and process dental radiographs as needed
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
• Document patient information accurately
• Ensure treatment rooms are organized and fully stocked
• Educate patients on post-treatment instructions when appropriate
• Work closely with doctors and team members to maintain efficient patient flow
• Deliver exceptional patient care and support throughout each visit

Required Qualifications

• Previous Dental Assistant experience required
• Strong chairside assisting experience
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment
• Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a specialty dental practice
• Experience with endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, or implant dentistry
• Radiology certification, if required by state regulations
