Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist in food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Cook menu items with precision, following recipes and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations throughout shifts
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality
• Support meal assembly, plating, and presentation for service periods
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation of ingredients
• Adhere to safety standards in production, including knife skills and slicing techniques

Skills

• Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service environments
• Strong knowledge of food safety management and handling procedures
• Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
• Excellent knife skills and slicing techniques for precise ingredient preparation
• Knowledge of menu planning and catering basics is advantageous
• Good understanding of safety standards in production and food industry regulations
