Ideal Vacuum Products is seeking a dependable and motivated Property Maintenance team member to help maintain our buildings, grounds, equipment, and work areas. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, organized, and able to work independently while keeping company property clean, safe, and well maintained.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in their work, notices what needs to be done, and follows through without needing constant direction. This role may include general repairs, maintenance tasks, groundskeeping, cleaning, moving materials, and assisting with facility projects as needed.

Job Duties

• Perform general property maintenance and repair tasks
• Assist with building upkeep, facility repairs, and routine maintenance
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized indoor and outdoor work areas
• Assist with groundskeeping, trash removal, sweeping, and general cleanup
• Move equipment, furniture, materials, and supplies as needed
• Help identify maintenance issues and report needed repairs
• Perform basic painting, patching, assembly, and repair work
• Assist with warehouse, building, and department setup projects
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Support other departments with facility-related needs as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, handyman, warehouse, construction, or facilities experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work on your feet throughout the day
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company instructions
