Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Maitland, FL. The Occupational Therapist will assess children’s functional abilities and sensory, motor, and daily living skills, and develop individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based intervention sessions, documenting progress, and adjusting goals as needed. The role involves close collaboration with families, caregivers, and other therapy professionals to support holistic care and continuity across home, school, and community. The Occupational Therapist will also contribute to a positive, child-centered clinic environment and participate in team meetings, professional development, and case discussions.

Qualifications

  • Formal qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional body.
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric practice, including assessment and intervention for developmental, sensory, and functional needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, individualized therapy sessions, manage a clinical caseload, and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional learning, and contributing positively to a multidisciplinary therapy team.
