Role Description The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating clients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence in daily activities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting assessments, implementing evidence-based treatment sessions, documenting progress, and collaborating with caregivers and other healthcare professionals to support client goals. The role also involves educating clients and families on strategies for home and community environments, maintaining accurate clinical records, and participating in team meetings and case reviews.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of Medicine and related healthcare practices to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective Communication skills for working with clients, families, and colleagues, including clear documentation and client education.
  • Experience or strong interest in Pediatrics, including the ability to tailor interventions for children and adolescents.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Ohio.
  • Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, maintain professional boundaries, and uphold ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability in documentation, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
