LPN | $28 - $32.44 + Shift Differential + Hero Pay
RN | $32.50 - $37.68 + Shift Differential + Hero Pay

Essential Responsibilities - LPN/RN (Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse)
As a valued LPN/RN, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care while supporting resident wellness, safety, and dignity in a collaborative long-term care environment.
Provide direct nursing care and implement individualized resident care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and pain management interventions safely and accurately
Monitor resident health status, including assessments, skin integrity, wound care, and vital signs
Observe, assess, document, and promptly report changes in resident condition
Execute physician orders accurately and within required timeframes
Maintain accurate electronic health record (EHR) documentation and clinical charting
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and all State and Federal healthcare regulations
Respond effectively to urgent and emergent resident care situations using sound clinical judgment
Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
Lead, delegate, and support CNA and clinical support staff while fostering teamwork and accountability
Assist with staffing coverage and provide unit support as needed
Deliver comprehensive shift reports to ensure continuity of care
Provide exceptional resident-centered customer service by exceeding resident and family expectations
Float between units based on operational and resident care needs

Education, Training, Experience
High school diploma or GED required
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) or nursing program
Successful completion of State Board of Nursing licensure examination
Previous LPN/RN nursing experience preferred, ideally in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, or senior care.
Experience working with geriatric or elderly populations preferred
Must maintain all continuing education requirements to keep nursing licensure active and in good standing
Participates in ongoing learning, professional development, and required in-service training
Required Licenses, Registration, and/or Certifications
Current, active Michigan Board of Nursing License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
Physical Requirements
This role is active and hands-on. You must be able to:
Stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and assist residents throughout your shift
Lift up to 50 pounds
Use mechanical lifts and clinical equipment safely
Maintain visual acuity and physical stamina required for resident care
Pay Range: $28.00 - $37.68 per hour
