Machine Operator 2nd Shift

Overview

Join our dynamic team as a 2nd Shift Machine Operator! In this role, you will be responsible for the surface finishing processing of customers’ parts using Extrude Hone’s various technologies – Abrasive Flow Machining (AFM), Electrco-Chemical Method (ECM), Thermal Energy Method (TEM), or Microflow (MF). Your expertise will help drive our manufacturing excellence while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Duties

• Perform general labor activities, including loading and unloading of machines, packaging finished product, keeping shop area clean
• Set-up machine for each individual job
• Install fixtures as required using small hand tools
• Set controls for quantity and other requirements using electronic display and manual adjustments
• Follow directions and complete assignments per the supervisor
• Maintain records throughout the production process
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of high school education, trade school or equivalent
• Must be a US Citizen
• Minimum mechanical ability or knowledge
• Able to use small hand tools
• Must be able to speak / read / write in English
• Able to comprehend and follow ISO procedures and processes relating to job performance and quality

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and to bend and climb
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to reach above shoulder level and stoop to floor level

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
