Swing Shift CNC Machinist (2+ years CNC exp required)

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a full-time position on our swing shift. This job entails more than just pushing buttons, it is both a challenging and rewarding career! Our growing company has a good crew and a wide variety of machines.

Job Description:

• Read drawings to properly machine various materials and parts
• Communicate with the designated foreman to identify and resolve production issues
• Analyze and inspect machined parts to stop problems from presenting further in the production process
• Maintain workspace in a clean and organized manner
• Set-up and run CNC machinery within given programming requirements
• Take routine measurements to ensure adherence to drawing specifications

Qualifications:

• Ability to set-up, program, and run CNC lathes
• Ability to set-up, program, and run CNC Mills
• Ability to read drawings and run machines in accordance with work necessity
• Ability to monitor own work to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Ability to routinely lift up to fifty pounds, maneuver, stretch, and bend
• Knowledge of Haas CNC G-Codes and previous experience with GibbsCAM is helpful
• Understanding of routine machining and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of general mathematic and machining principles
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• 2+ years CNC Machining experience
• Must possess or have access to reliable transportation
