Role Description This part-time, on-site Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role is based at Lindora Windermere in Ocoee, FL. The LPN will provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, performing basic clinical procedures, administering medications as directed, and assisting with treatments under the supervision of a licensed provider. Daily responsibilities include documenting patient information accurately in medical records, preparing exam rooms and equipment, and supporting providers during patient consultations. The LPN will educate patients on prescribed care plans, reinforce wellness and prevention guidelines, and respond to patient questions and concerns in a professional manner. The role also involves collaborating with other clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow, maintain a clean and safe environment, and adhere to all relevant policies, regulations, and infection control standards.

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills in basic nursing procedures, vital signs assessment, medication administration, and patient documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Ability to follow clinical protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and comply with regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient or wellness setting, with effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) or willingness to learn new clinical software systems.
  • Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory care and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Previous experience in outpatient, primary care, wellness, or weight management settings is preferred but not required.
